This morning Sunday 28th June there I was picking the last of the cherries from our tree when a flutter of bird wings made me look up. The owner of the noisy wings was (see picture) now I don’t claim to be a expert but I reckon this is a baby female pheasant. I'd expect to see phesants in the countryside not in Kent on the edge of South East London. ( anyone know otherwise).
